I have worked with a wide range of clients of all abilities and starting points. Their goals have been varied and very individual. I helped guide them towards achieving their goals, and they put in the time and effort to achieve them.
My clients are my best adverts. Here they say a few words about what they got out of my coaching.
Probably the time in my life when I was fittest and strongest was the decade of the 1960s, throughout which I competed at fencing, in the Amateur Fencers League of America and for a while in the NCAA. That was until several years ago, when I started working out with Cameron Francey as my trainer. I think I am now stronger and fitter at 81 than I was in my twenties. I have never enjoyed the exercises (or any that I can recall), but I do enjoy feeling this way. Cameron is not a cajoling or scolding taskmaster, but rather guides me through gradually more challenging exercises so that I am noticeably stronger from month to month.
I wasn’t sure that working with a personal trainer would be worth the time and expense, but now I can’t imagine doing without training with Cameron. He is very patient, kind and encouraging. He listens to my goals (such as handling my own carry-on luggage, achieving better balance, doing a push-up) and figures out how to get me there. I appreciate his emphasis on proper form and attention to avoidance of injury. I highly recommend working with Cameron!
I began working with Cameron at age 62. I was looking for direction and motivation. Cameron was able to not only do both but took my body to a new level of strength and flexibility. I believe that working with Cameron has taken my life to a much higher quality of living. Age is only a number IF you are pushing back with fitness and nutrition. I highly recommend Cameron for your fitness and lifestyle needs.
Cameron has been my coach for over a year (yeehaa!). I’m very happy to recommend him.
First, I must emphasize- Cameron creates a workout to fit YOU. If you want cookie-cutter stuff, look elsewhere. I called Cameron (after a friend highly recommended him) because I was finally ready to work with a coach who would assess what I could do (or not) on day one, listen to where I wanted to be, and would get me on that path— safely, politely, but firmly. And darn it, he has figured out what motivates me, because that’s what a coach does! Cameron has also adjusted my workouts many times (harder or easier) as life stuff popped up and then got resolved- a trip to the ER, a long trip, a bad cold.
Second, here’s what I’ve experienced - a wonderful domino effect: I’ve slowly and steadily gained strength, more than I expected (really). I’m really good at being lazy, but by golly I rarely skip a workout because Cameron keeps them at a level I can handle and maybe a tiny bit more. So they’re not boring, and I see improvement over time. After a workout, I rarely feel sore but I do feel nicely tired that night, so I think I get better sleep. My balance is much better. Strength and balance led to me feeling more confident and comfortable with day to day activities like taking the stairs, lifting boxes, suitcases, getting down on the floor to look for something, walking on uneven bumpy ground. Confidence and comfort led to me wanting to STAY active. So I’m really investing in my quality of life.
If you see yourself in any of this, think about what you want. When you’re ready for a coach, I hope you’ll call Cameron.
